The physical practice of yoga and the lessons learned on the mat are meant to inform your everyday life. We provide support via education, ancient wisdom, proven practices and modern resources to live life on your own terms in a way that serves your highest self and destiny. WHY CHERISHED MAMA PRE AND POSTNATAL YOGA?
As a proud mother, Vanya is extremely passionate about the benefits of prenatal yoga and attributes yoga to making pregnancy one of the most blissful times in her life. She is also founder and director of Cherished Mama Pre and Postnatal Yoga Program, which celebrates pregnancy and birth as a sacred rite of passage. Through breath control (pranayama), meditation, and yoga postures (asanas) pregnant and birthing people are encouraged to tap into their body’s innate wisdom about pregnancy and childbirth.
With these tools, you can and do experience increased self-awareness while feeling empowered to listen to your body, both on and off the mat. Holistic wellness is also an integral part of the Cherished Mama Yoga experience. It includes holistic nutrition, lifestyle, and childbirth education.
