We provide support via education, ancient wisdom, proven practices and modern resources to live life on your own terms in a way that serves your highest self and destiny. As a proud mother, Vanya is extremely passionate about the benefits of prenatal yoga and attributes yoga to making pregnancy one of the most blissful times in her life. She is also founder and director of Cherished Mama Pre and Postnatal Yoga Program, which celebrates pregnancy and birth as a sacred rite of passage. Through breath control (pranayama), meditation, and yoga postures (asanas) pregnant and birthing people are encouraged to tap into their body’s innate wisdom about pregnancy and childbirth.
With these tools, you can and do experience increased self-awareness while feeling empowered to listen to your body, both on and off the mat. Holistic wellness is also an integral part of the Cherished Mama Yoga experience. It includes holistic nutrition, lifestyle, and childbirth education.

Vanya’s prenatal yoga classes have been such an amazing experience for me, and have really played a big part in my pregnancy. As a runner, biker, and swimmer, I had never done much yoga prior to pregnancy. Now it is such an important part of my week. Prenatal yoga has prepared me both mentally and physically for the challenge and incredible experience of childbirth. Thank you for your role in it.
On the day of my daughter’s birth, I used my yoga practice to get me through the pain and nervous energy. Squatting, cooling breaths, and surrendering to the pain were techniques that helped me tremendously to get through the labor. And my labor progressed well – and almost without medication – it was such a beautiful experience that I strongly believe that prenatal yoga prepared me so well! I’m a true believer of the practice!
